May 14, 2018 Your Chapter in Action! The IM 2018 Edition ACP Leaders Meet in New Orleans for 2018 Board of Governors Meeting On April 16-18, 2018, ACP Chapter leaders from across the country and abroad met in New Orleans to discuss current issues of importance in healthcare and review governance policies of the ACP. These meetings are a chance for all ACP Chapters to discuss timely issues of challenge and concern and act on resolutions to address such challenges. Among the resolutions discussed, two were put forth by the New York Chapter: Waiving of CMS Two-Midnight Rule for Skilled Nursing Facility Eligibility, which was passed with an amendment; and Advocating for an Annual Review of Payments for Ambulatory CPT codes for Non-Procedural Services, which was referred for study - meaning that it will be researched over the next year and brought back at next year's Board of Governors meeting.
