Program Objectives
At the conclusion of this CME activity, the participant should be able to:
- Determine the best timing for the transition of antibiotics from the IV to oral route
-Select the optimal diuretic dose and route and cardiac regimen for patients with acute decompensated
heart failure.
-Initiate bupropion for patients admitted with opioid use disorder who want to initiate medication-assisted
therapy (MAT).
-Have difficult conversations with patients and families about goals of care and management for patients
with life-threatening conditions.
-Determine the best initial management for patients with sepsis and pneumonia to improve outcomes,
including decrease mortality
