Councilors serve as a voice for the physicians in their district or region, bringing forward the needs, concerns, insights, and successes in their medical community. As voting members, they help carry out NYACP’s mission and goals and highlight Chapter priorities by communicating important information with the physicians in their local medical communities.
NYACP’s Call for Council Nominations was sent to Chapter members in the following districts and regions in early August: Manhattan, Staten Island, Suffolk, Hudson Valley Central, Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island Region, and Upstate Region. If you, or a colleague, are interested in serving on the NYACP Council Board for a 3-year term beginning in April 2026, please ACT NOW by reviewing the Councilor Responsibilities document and completing the online biosketch form.
