Sneha Shrivastava, MD, MSEd

Mom of 1 boy and 1 dog.  

Dr. Shrivastava is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Renaissance School of Medicine at SUNY Stony Brook, Primary Care Track Director and an Associate Program Director at the Internal Medicine residency program. She serves as co-chair for the Career Advising Program at the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) and is the Secretary and co-chair for SGIM’s Mid-Atlantic Region.

Susan Lee, MD, FACP

Mom of 2.

Dr. Lee is a Professor of clinical medicine at Renaissance School of Medicine at SUNY Stony Brook, medical director at Stony Brook Primary Care, Deputy, Chief Medical Information Officer for Stony Brook Medicine.  She is a past NYACP Governor and current Regent of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Samberg is an assistant professor of medicine and an associate program director at UPMC Internal Medicine residency program.

Jillian Kyle, MD, MS

Mom of 2 and 1 dog.  Author of Chapter 2: Emotional Health During Pregnancy and Postpartum

Dr. Kyle is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She is the clerkship director for the Adult Outpatient Medicine clerkship. She is the current membership chair of the Society of General Internal Medicine mid-Atlantic region.

Dr. Vanderberg is an associate professor of medicine at university of Pittsburgh, fibromyalgia clinic director and internal medicine track bootcamp co-director.

Mom of 3. Author of Chapter 4: Managing Childcare as a Physician 

Dr. Fisher is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Director of Women’s Health of the Medicine Institute of AHN.  She is also Sub-I Clerkship Site Director and director of the Gender Based Medicine Track in the internal medicine residency program.

Dr. Christianer is an assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University, medical director for the primary care practice and associate program director for the internal medicine residency program.

Paula Marfia, MD

Mom of 3. Author of Chapter 6: Navigating Early Career Challenges 

Dr. Marfia is an assistant professor at Loyola university medical center and the lead nocturnist. She serves as the President of the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) Chicago Chapter and as coordinator of the Parenting in Medicine Interest Group through the Women and Medicine Commission at SGIM.
