The Council / Board of Directors consists of physician volunteer leaders entrusted to represent and actively engage the membership of the New York Chapter American College of Physicians. The Council / Board sets policy and provides leadership, including planning strategically for the Chapter’s growth; determining the mission, goals, and priorities; and allocating resources in line with those priorities.
The Chapter is organized into 5 "regions" and 16 "districts" allowing for immediate access to local physician leadership.
Develop your leadership path and get involved by serving on the Chapter's various committees and task forces. A committee has permanent standing, whereas a task force meets as needed to address specific, time-limited issues. Most committees and task forces meet at least two times per year via conference call.
